COSMO database solution is designed to automate the process of gathering meter readings from a digital meter and to store the data in the database. The application communicates with the digital meter via RADIO or GPRS technology to get the reads along with the meter diagnostic information. The whole process is supported by user-friendly interface, so the user can read the meter manually to see the meter diagnostic information on screen and at the same time the reads can be obtained.

This process can also be automated to get the meter information periodically. The meter readings can be distributed to billing systems to do accurate billing.
